Preparing Your Higton Bag
Cleaning: Clean with a simple cloth and water before any usage or conditioning.
Storing: When not wearing it, keep it out of direct sunlight to avoid drying it out.
Conditioning: You can use Leather Wax or Cream to add a protective layer but be first to test on an unseen portion first.
Deep Cleaning: Once a month you can use a vegan leather cleaning agent or a mild laundry detergent to deep clean the bag. Be sure to use a soft cloth and gently wipe the cleaning agent on the product.
Cleaning For Stains: How to clean for stains can depend on what the stain is from. Most organic stains will come off with a mild detergent and water mix or a 50/50 mix of water & white vinegar.
Sticky Zippers: If your zipper becomes sticky over time for whatever reason first try cleaning your zipper with a damp cloth then applying a simple lubricant such as chapstick or vaseline to the closed zipper area.
